- Schedule a visit with your lab of choice at least 24 hours after your visit so we can send the lab orders
- Confirm that the lab accepts your insurance
- Call your insurance to confirm if your labs will be covered
- Print a copy of the lab orders to bring with you to the lab
How to access [lab orders] on a desktop computer or laptop:
- Sign in to your AthenaHealth account
- Navigate to the “My Health” page
- Open the “Health Reminders” tab.
- Click the first order and hit the “Print” button, which will open a PDF file.
- If there’s a barcode, have the receptionist scan the code. Or look for “Requisition number” (sometimes abbreviated to “req #”.
How to access on a mobile device:
- Sign into your AthenaHealth account in your mobile browser (not the AthenaHealth app).
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Full Site”. (The orders will not load in the mobile view).
